Got to spend some time with Eddie & Carol today. (He came out & watched a bit of Upward Flag Football.)
First, still no lab results. So...R.O.N. *smile*
Eddie looks good and he and Carol are doing well in terms of his spirits & attitude. He said that he greatly appreciates the prayers, the emails, and the comments left here. You are making a difference! Eddie said that God has been incredible to him these past couple of weeks. I attribute that in part to your prayers, so thanks!
A passage from Zephaniah 3 that Eddie said has ministered greatly to him this week:
16 On that day it shall be said to Jerusalem:
“Fear not, O Zion;
let not your hands grow weak.
17 The Lord your God is in your midst,
a mighty one who will save;
he will rejoice over you with gladness;
he will quiet you by his love;
he will exult over you with loud singing.

Eddie and Carol, Our family is praying for you daily. Your faith and complete trust in God's sovreign plan inspire us all.
I read that only those who have been through serious illness can understand how even sickness can bring great blessings. No test that comes your way is too much to face. All that really matters is that God will never let you down, He will carry your load if it becomes too heavy, and he does not let us go through hard times to make us fall to the ground, but to fall to our knees before Him to receive His grace, mercy, and love. We love you and appreciate what a great encourager you are to Stephen. He wants you to know if you need him to do any more at work while you're out, you can count on him. May God bless your beautiful family and give you all a peace that passes all understanding.
